Am I eligible for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant?

You can usually get it if you own the home, it’s in England or Wales, and you’re replacing a fossil-fuel or electric heating system (new builds and social housing are excluded). The grant must be claimed by an MCS-certified installer. ByEco’s MCS & TrustMark certification is in progress, so we can’t lodge the claim ourselves yet — we’ll explain your options when you request a quote.

How much can I save?

It depends on your home, your tariff and how well the system is designed. At current price-cap rates a well-designed heat pump typically costs a little less to run than a gas boiler, and the gap widens with a heat-pump tariff or solar. An eligible installation can get £7,500 off through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (claimed by an MCS-certified installer), and installation VAT is 0% until 31 March 2027. We'll model your own running costs during the home assessment.

What's included in the price?

Equipment, full installation, removal of the old system, electrical work, rubbish removal, commissioning, and clear guidance on BUS and SEG. No surprise add-ons.

How long does installation take?

Single-zone heat pump: 3–4 hours. Multi-zone whole-home install: 1–2 days. Solar systems: 1 day. We book you in within 5 working days of accepting the quote.

Which brands do you install?

Heat pumps: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Fujitsu. Solar inverters: Sungrow, Fronius, GoodWe. Heat-pump hot water: Sanden, Reclaim. All tier-1, all warranty-backed.

What's the warranty?

5–10 years on the equipment (varies by brand) plus 5 years on our installation workmanship. We're the contact point for warranty claims so you don't deal with manufacturers directly.

Do you service my postcode?

We service across England & Wales — London, the South East, the Midlands, the North West and most towns in between. Pop your postcode into the quote form to confirm.

Can I add solar or a battery later?

Yes. Every solar system we design uses a battery-ready hybrid inverter, so you can add storage in the future without replacing the inverter. We also offer pre-wiring for EV chargers.
